Your Order – Terms and Conditions
Thank you for your order through the Melt Web Site at www.meltbakeshop.com.au, which is owned and operated by Collective Trading Pty. Ltd. Please review these Terms and Conditions. Your use of the Web Site or purchase of products from us constitutes your agreement to follow these Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them.

The prices quoted on this Web Site include Australian GST (where applicable).
Availability of goods
At the time of placing your order, all of the items in it are in stock at our despatch centre, according to our stock inventory system. Items marked as ‘pre-order’ are excepted, as are certain items that are shipped directly from the manufacturer to you. Very occasionally due to an inventory system error, one or more of your items will be unavailable. In this instance, you will be refunded for the item(s) and any remaining items will be shipped to you.
Occasionally we will offer special promotions to our customers. This can include a gift with purchase, free shipping, manufacturer offers, or other promotional activity associated with a product purchase. These offers may be for a limited time only, and no rainchecks are available.
Our shipping and processing charges are intended to compensate our company for the cost of processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase and delivering them to you through Australia Post. Full details of our current charges can be found on our Customer Service page, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Large or bulky shipments may not be subject to our standard shipping charges. In these instances, we will contact you with a shipping quote before dispatch of your order.
Goods are shipped from our despatch centre in Ballarat, Victoria. You can expect us to ship your order within 1 business day of receiving it in most cases. Please allow longer during peak times. You will receive an email from us when we ship your order, including a tracking number for your delivery. Please note that quoted shipping timeframes are not guaranteed except when you choose our Priority Shipping service, which guarantees same day shipping on orders placed by 11am. Items that are marked as ‘pre-order’ will be shipped when stock is received into our warehouse. Orders containing pre-order items will be delivered in one shipment when the pre-order item is available.
Your order will be delivered through Australia Post eParcel in most cases. The delivery time to your destination will vary according to your postcode. Full details can be found at www.auspost.com.au. Please allow extra time for post deliveries at peak times eg Christmas and Easter. Melt does not accept any responsibility for shipping times, and we cannot refund items that arrive later than required, although you may return them at your cost (exclusions may apply). A signature is required for delivery. If no-one is available to sign for your parcel, Australia Post should leave a card advising you of your pick-up options. As this may not always happen, we advise you to keep track of your delivery through the Australia Post tracking number that can be found online in your Melt account. Australia Post will return your order to Melt if you do not arrange to pick it up promptly. Should this happen, you will be required to pay a $10 Australia Post Return Fee for re-delivery of your parcel. Melt does not accept any responsibility for goods once they have been collected by Australia Post, including any loss or damage in transit.
You are welcome to return any of our items within 7 days of receipt if you change your mind. Please contact us for information on how to return products. Items must reach us in new condition, in their original packaging. On receipt of your return, we will provide you with a refund or credit. If you received free shipping on your item, the cost of shipping the item to you will be deducted from your refund/credit amount.
Food products are not returnable if you have changed your mind.
If you have purchased items on clearance or at a sale price, no refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind or have no use for the item.
If you believe your item is faulty please contact our Customer Service team for advice. We will repair, replace or refund (at our discretion) items that are considered faulty, according to our obligation by law. Changes and Cancellations
Orders once placed via the Melt website are considered final. Should you wish to add an item after placing your order and before it is shipped please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible.
From time to time there may be information on our Web Site or in our catalogue that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, photographs, pricing, and availability. To the extent permitted by law, Melt reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
When you create an account on our Web Site your data is stored on Melt's secure server. You will receive newsletters and other promotional material from Melt and its associated companies, which you can opt out of by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ on a newsletter or contacting our Customer Service team. Your data will not be shared with any third party not directly associated with Melt.
